Custom Orders
I love working together with clients to design one-of-a-kind and bespoke engagement rings and other jewelry. Below, some commonly asked questions about our custom design process. To learn more about custom design process, please visit our Custom Work page and Gallery.
Most custom designs are completed in 6 - 8 weeks following your final design approval. The time needed for a custom design can vary by complexity, gemstone sourcing, and other factors. Your consultation will include estimated production times. Please specify any deadlines in your request.
Absolutely! Many designs can be created with different stones or colors, or crafted in Rose Gold, White Gold, or Platinum by special request. Please reach out to see what's possible.
I do not usually accept client stones or metal, but will occasionally work with heirloom diamonds or sapphires over 1CT from other jewelry. Gem removal and setting carries risks, and I cannot be held responsible for damage to stones. Recycling gemstones can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
I take great pride in sourcing quality diamonds and gemstones for my design from vendors I trust. Sourcing my own materials allows me to control for quality, durability, genuinity, and ethical sourcing and cutting practices. I am happy to source a custom stone for your project.
Yes. I have a network of trusted suppliers to help me track down the perfect stone for your design. These vetted and trusted suppliers meet my standards for ethical sourcing and high quality materials. From finding the perfect color, to full custom cutting, it's all possible.
Every custom project is different! There is a minimum of $2500 for Custom Engagement Rings. I strive to provide several options throughout the design process to meet a range of price points, kind of a "choose-your-own-adventure" style. If you are working with a specific budget, please let me know.
Emma Brooke Jewelry is based in Portland, OR, however I am happy to work both remotely and locally with customers to create a custom piece. At this time, all of my consultation is remote.
Yes. For standard shop purchases, I offer payment plans through Shop Pay. Custom orders are invoiced in 2 separate payments that can be scheduled up to 6 weeks apart .
If you've found another artists work, please support that artist. I will not replicate another artists work. It's totally ok to reference pieces you like or share images of jewelry you've found as part of the design inspiration process, but know that I will not directly replicate another artists style or designs.
Repairs & Resizing
I take pride in hand crafting quality pieces that last. If your Emma Brooke piece requires resizing or repairs, I am happy to assist.
- Ring resizing is available for Emma Brooke pieces, and for jewelry purchased elsewhere on a case-by-case basis. Typical resizing fees begin from $50 USD, and can go up depending on the complexity of the project and amount of material needed.
- If your ring size has changed following a pregnancy, I offer one free ring sizing. Valid for Emma Brooke engagement rings only.
- Please note not all styles can be resized. Please check the item description.

Polished or brushed finishes, and patinas such as blackened silver naturally wear off with time. I am happy to retouch finishes on Emma Brooke pieces at no cost.
I am happy to repair Emma Brooke pieces. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 30 days of arrival for replacement or repair at no charge. After 30 days, the cost of any other repairs is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please email me at hello@emmabrookejewelry.com for more information.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Due to the made-to-order nature of this small business, returns are only available in the form of store credit.
- Sale items, customized items, custom designs, international orders, and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Items must be undamaged, and unworn, in their original condition and packaging.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
- A 10% Restocking Fee will be applied to all returns.
If you would like to request a return, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order, and I will guide you through the return process. Items returned without prior contact and approval will not be accepted.
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact me immediately if your item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can make it right. Please notify us of any issues within 14 days of receipt by contacting me at hello@emmabrookejewelry.com.
